Dobromilice: Hotels and Accommodations

In Dobromilice, several testimonies to the town’s history come together around the Baroque Church of All Saints. Its origins are dated to around 1350; it also contains crypts associated with the noble families Páni ze Stomů, Žálkovští, and Kořenští, who resided in Dobromilice.

Culture and History

Next to the parish church stands the burial chapel of the Bukůwků family. It was built in 1875 by Zikmund Jaromír Bukůwka, Count of Bukůwky. The chapel is distinguished by a special burial method: the coffins lie on the floor of the crypt chambers and are preserved by air.

A stone arch bridge over the Broděnka probably dates from the 16th century and has been listed as a cultural monument since 1958.

Walking Tour and Museum

The educational trail of sacred monuments is a permanent walking tour with five information panels around the Church of All Saints in Dobromilice. It includes an unearthed gravestone from the crypt of Countess Maria Anna Clam. The fifth and final stop is located at the burial chapel of the Bukůwků family.

The Regional Museum in Dobromilice features a permanent exhibition on rural life approximately one hundred years ago, including crafts, agriculture, and beekeeping. The museum can be visited by prior telephone or email arrangement.
