Dolní Nětčice: Hotels and accommodations

In the center of Dolní Nětčice stands the Chapel of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary, dating from 1902. Masses are celebrated in the chapel. The statue of the Virgin Mary dates from 1909; a statue of the Virgin Mary has stood in the park next to the chapel since July 1969.

Culture and local history

At the lower end of the municipality stands the memorial to those who fell in the First World War. It was erected in 1921 and renovated in 1956. Every year at the beginning of May, Dolní Nětčice commemorates the tragic events of the war in 1945. The Kříž u Gadasovýho cross stands on the right-hand side of the road from Dolní Nětčice to Rakov and dates from 1898.

The Dolní Nětčice Film Museum is located in the municipal office building. An exhibition of cameras and photographic equipment was created there, illustrating the history of the development of photography and film. On site, films can be viewed on touchscreens and recordings can be transferred to a large-screen projection.

Nature and cycling routes

The Dolnonětčický stream flows through the entire municipality and rises below Maleník Hill. Cycling Route 6137 runs through the center of Dolní Nětčice, leading from Helfštýn Castle to Bystřice pod Hostýnem. In the forest above the village, this cycling route connects to the Jantarová stezka.

Traditions and airfield

The SDH Dolní Nětčice Volunteer Fire Brigade organizes the Vodění medvěda carnival tradition in the municipality. Arrivals at Záhoří Airfield are only possible with the operator’s prior telephone approval; model aircraft operations also take place there.
