Ludmírov: Hotels and Accommodation

Ludmírov, including all of its administrative area and local districts, is located in the Kladecko Nature Park. The landscape alternates between forested areas and land used for agriculture and is structured by the deep valleys of watercourses, including the Špraněk.

Nature

The Průchodnice Nature Reserve protects a rock formation made of Devonian limestone, featuring a cave and two rock gates. It encompasses original beech and mixed forests with rare plants such as Turk’s cap lily and several orchid species and serves as a wintering area for the protected barbastelle bat.

Skalky has a species-rich herb layer with numerous rare and protected plants, including lily of the valley, white helleborine and broad-leaved helleborine. The protected Skalky area preserves an original woodland stand with predominantly beech and hornbeam trees on a small rocky hilltop.

The Rudka Nature Reserve in the Kladecko Nature Park protects mixed forest and adjoining meadows on a limestone rock with protected herb species.

History and Culture

The Chapel of St. Anne, founded in 1836, is located in the centre of Ludmírov. Ludmírov is first documented in a written record dated 15 November 1382. Settlement dating from the Neolithic and Bronze Ages has been documented in the Ludmírov–Průchodnice locality.

The wayside shrine on the road to Ponikev in Ludmírov has been protected as an immovable cultural monument since 3 May 1958. The rural Empire-style farmstead No. 23 in the northwestern part of Ludmírov has likewise been protected as an immovable cultural monument since 3 May 1958.

The Monument to the Victims of the First and Second World Wars is located in the vicinity of Ludmírov. The Chapel of Our Lady of Lourdes, the Chapel of the Virgin Mary and the Chapel of the Sacred Heart are also located there.

Trails

A marked blue hiking trail runs through the administrative area of Ludmírov along the route Blansko – Jaroměřice – Kladky – Milkov farma – Kadeřín – Javoříčko. A marked green hiking trail touches the southern edge of the administrative area and runs along the route Nádraží ČD Jesenec – Kladky – Hamerky – Kozov – Bouzov – Bílá Lhota.

The existing cycle route No. 5030 between Konice and Bouzov also runs through the administrative area of Ludmírov.

Bradlo Hill and Rudka Hill are located in the immediate surroundings of Ludmírov. Husák Mountain and Skalky Mountain are located farther away in the surrounding region.
