Klenovice na Hané is home to the distinctive landmark of the Baroque Church of Saint Bartholomew. The church has had its present appearance since 1847.

Culture and History

In 1400, Klenovice was granted the status of a market town with market rights. Archaeological finds from the area around Klenovice include bones, vessels, jewelry, as well as tools and implements.

The statues of Saint Florian and Saint John of Nepomuk stand in the village square. Both are registered cultural monuments. The surroundings of Klenovice na Hané are also home to the monument “Memorial to the Victims of the First World War” and the statue “Statue of Saint John of Nepomuk.”

At a place called Za školou stands a kneeling statue of the Virgin Mary with the infant Jesus, dating from 1913.

Klenovice na Hané lies in the fertile Haná plain. The area around the village includes Předina and Chlum mountains; the hill “(Zadní Díly) [Uhřičice]” is located nearby.
