Krumsín: Hotels and accommodation

Krumsín showcases its history at the Church of St. Bartholomew. The church features elements of Neo-Romanesque architecture and was built in 1866–1867 on the site of a former Romanesque church.

Culture and history

The main altar of the Church of St. Bartholomew bears a painting of St. Bartholomew created in 1867 by František Bsirky. In front of the church stands a cross dating from 1835, which is listed in the Central Register of Immovable Cultural Monuments.

The local landmarks also include a statue of St. John of Nepomuk. The Baroque statue dates from 1748, is life-sized, and depicts the saint in traditional canonical clerical attire. It is freely accessible.

Nature and trails

Hiking trails pass through Krumsín. The Kněží hora Nature Reserve lies in the surrounding area; it encompasses the slopes of Kněží hora and the valley of the Křenůvský stream.

Cycling routes to the Plumlov Reservoir also pass through Krumsín.

Events

On June 19, 2025, the final round of the Czech Pétanque Extraliga was played at one of two venues in Krumsín.
