Určice is located in the western part of Haná, southwest of Prostějov, at the foot of the Drahanská vrchovina Highlands.

Culture and History

The present-day Church of St. John the Baptist in Určice was built in the Baroque style between 1727 and 1734. The free-standing tower next to the church certainly dates from the mid-15th century.

The crypt beneath the Church of St. John the Baptist in Určice contains the remains of Kateřina z Kravař. The establishment of the Marian pilgrimage site in Určice is associated with the parish priest Pavel Alexander Jakšíček. A statue of St. Florian dates from 1766.
