Dvakačovice: Hotels and accommodations

Dvakačovice is home to the Mohylník archaeological site. It is the oldest Slavic burial site in the Chrudim region and dates from the 8th to 9th century. The site comprises two areas; its northern area contains 45 burial mounds.

Culture and history

The present-day Evangelical cemetery in Dvakačovice was established in 1860 and replaced an older cemetery northeast of the village. The Church of Svatý Jiří is located in the wider regional surroundings of Dvakačovice. During the summer months, pilgrimage services and services commemorating the anniversary of the chapel's consecration are held at the Chapel of the Most Holy Trinity in Dvakačovice.
