Labské Chrčice is located in the Polabian Lowland between Kolín and Přelouč, on the right bank of the Elbe. The surrounding area combines river landscapes, wetlands, and distinctive examples of the region’s cultural heritage.

Nature and Landscape

The Týnecké mokřiny wetlands encompass habitats with standing bodies of water, reed beds, willow stands, and wet meadows. They are also an important resting and breeding site for birds. The Duny u Sváravy protected area preserves undisturbed sand dunes with remnants of sand-loving flora and fauna.

Culture and Townscape

The historic center of Labské Chrčice forms part of the Kladrubské Polabí heritage conservation zone. The forge on the village square, located in house no. 46, is designated as an immovable cultural monument. A wooden bell stands in front of the fire station in Labské Chrčice. The monument to the victims of the First World War stands in the western part of Labské Chrčice near the cemetery. Nearby, in Kladruby na Labem, is the national cultural monument of the famous stud farm where Kladruber white horses are bred.
