Culture and History
The cadastral area of Řečany nad Labem is part of the Kladrubské Polabí heritage zone. The Church of St. Mary Magdalene was consecrated in 1165 and reconsecrated to St. Mary Magdalene on 24 October 1407 by Bishop Václav Nikopolský. It preserves a Romanesque apse and the eastern part of the nave. Local traditions in Řečany nad Labem also include a traditional pilgrimage.
Nature
The Labské rameno Votoka natural monument is located in the municipalities of Řečany nad Labem and Semín, in the cadastral areas of Labětín and Semín. It protects a branch of the Elbe separated from the main river channel, with preserved flora and fauna.
The group of granite blocks known as “Obří postele” lies in a forest two kilometres from the village centre.

Kačina Castle and the Church of St. George are located in the vicinity of Řečany nad Labem. Nearby are the “Vrchy” hill near Řečany nad Labem-Labětín and the “Na Sklepích” hill near Kladruby nad Labem.
