Kasalice: Hotels and Accommodations

Behind Kasalice, a circular hill marks the site of a former fortress. Together with historical traces, landscape features, and two cycling routes, it creates a multifaceted picture of the village and its surroundings.

History

The first written record of Kasalice dates back to 1372. At the site of the former fortress behind Kasalice, a ditch and an outer rampart have been preserved over more than three-quarters of their original extent. The Kasaličky archaeological area is designated as a significant archaeological site with the remains of a fortress.

Members of the Silver B parachute group landed in the vicinity of Kasaličky and sought help from local residents. The Church of Saint George is also located near Kasalice; farther away in the surrounding region lies Kačina Chateau.

The large hall of the cultural center in Kasalice is equipped for balls, concerts, theatrical performances, and dance competitions.

Soudný Hill [Chýšť] is located in the immediate vicinity of Kasalice. Nadýmač Hill [Břehy] and Sušina Hill [Sopřeč] are located in the vicinity of Kasalice. Kamenec Mountain lies farther away in the surrounding region.

Cycling Routes

Cycling route 4273 runs via Břehy, Vlčí Habřina, and Rohovládova Bělá to Kasalice. Cycling route 4275 runs between Pravy and Voleč through Kasalice.
