Horni Lipka: Hotels and accommodations

The Horní Lipka district and its wider surroundings are characterized by a high proportion of preserved permanent grassland areas and extensive adjoining woodland. The Lipkovský potok drains the Horní Lipka area, flows east of it, and belongs to the Morava river basin. The Králický Sněžník Nature Park is located in the area of the project in Horní Lipka.

The present-day Church of St. Anne in Horní Lipka stands on the site of a stone chapel dedicated to Saint Barbara, the holy virgin and martyr, dating from 1768; its present Classical appearance probably dates from 1818. On May 26, 1923, its tower burned out after being struck by lightning. During reconstruction, the original onion dome was replaced by a pyramid-shaped tower.

A cemetery cross stands in the middle of the cemetery that formerly adjoined the church. Today, the former cemetery is marked by removed gravestones along the southern wall of the church. A fragment of the original monument can be found in the cemetery in Horní Lipka. An old trade route to Kladsko once passed through Horní Lipka.

The K-S 8 Museum features exhibitions on Czechoslovak fortifications, the Carpathian-Dukla Operation, the underground Richard factory, and the Litoměřice concentration camp. The K-S 8 “U nádraží” infantry bunker is located 50 meters from Červený Potok railway station.

The K-S 9 “Mezi lesíky” infantry bunker is directly adjacent to the Hůrka artillery fortress. It was built in 1936 as the first fortification object in the Králicko area and was severely damaged by intensive shelling during the occupation.

A red-marked hiking trail runs between Heřmanice and Horní Lipka and then continues towards Prostřední Lipka. Regional cycle route 4068 runs between Dolní Lipka, Prostřední Lipka, and Horní Lipka.
