The entire municipality of Hartmanice lies within the Údolí Křetínky Nature Park. A stream flows through the village axis of Hartmanice; it rises near Štěrbův kopec and joins the Zlatý potok near the municipality of Hamry.

The Kočíko mountain lies in the immediate surroundings of Hartmanice. The Librův Kopec and Drašarov mountains are located nearby, while Mount Kuliška lies in the wider regional area. A long ridge near the chapel offers views of the Valburčina Valley and the château in Bystré.

Culture and History

The Chapel of Saint John of Nepomuk was consecrated in 1708. This Baroque building stands on a long ridge between mighty lime trees. The grave of Countess Arnoštka z Langetu, owner of the Bystré estate, is located by the chapel. The history of Hartmanice is also connected with Svojanov Castle and the municipality of Bystré.

Hiking and Leisure

Leisure activities in Hartmanice include easy hikes. From Hartmanice, it is possible to take trips to Svojanov and Bystré. On the hiking route from Nyklovice to Bystré via Svojanov, one section heads toward Hartmanice through the forest and uphill; Bystré can be reached on foot after two kilometres. Downhill skiing is one of the leisure activities in Hamry.
