Sádek: Hotels and Accommodation

Sádek lies in the Žďárské vrchy Protected Landscape Area and features hilly terrain with several longer valleys crossed by small streams. Librův Kopec hill lies nearby. Kočíko hill is located in the vicinity of Sádek; the Drašarov and Na jedli hills are also nearby.

Culture

The former Rychtář farmstead No. 33 has an enclosed quadrangular courtyard, a timbered upper floor and a free-standing brick barn. Around the middle of the 16th century, the farmstead served as the Rychtář's seat. It is the oldest brick vernacular building in the Poličsko region.

The original Protestant cemetery of Sádek was established in 1783 following the issuance of the Patent of Toleration in 1781. It is protected by the heritage conservation authority; only the stone perimeter wall has survived.

The Church of the Most Holy Trinity in Sádek is an enclosed early Baroque rural church complex dating from 1710–1713, an important monument in the Poličsko region and a landmark of the municipality. Masses are held in the parish Church of the Most Holy Trinity in Sádek on Wednesdays and Fridays at 18:00, Saturdays at 8:00 and Sundays at 8:30.

Getting Around

Cycle route 4022 passes through Sádek. Class II and Class III roads run through the village; the Class II road is served by bus routes and has three stops.
