Dobršín: Hotels and Accommodation

Dobršín preserves a village square layout of medieval origin.

Culture

The folk architecture of Dobršín includes single-storey timber and masonry buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries, with the broad gables typical of the Pošumaví region. Since 25 July 1995, Dobršín has been protected as a village heritage reservation.

The Chapel of the Most Holy Trinity contains a Neo-Gothic altar, a sculptural group of the Holy Trinity, and a collection of folk sculptures. A memorial cross dated 1871 stands beside its entrance. Dobršín Farmstead No. 17 is listed in the Central Register of Cultural Monuments, is partly built using log construction, and features a so-called “kožich”. Dobršínský mlýn is a well-preserved mill without any significant later alterations that would diminish its value.

Nature

The Čepičná Nature Reserve extends across the cadastral areas of Budětice, Dobršín, and Čepice. It protects rare calcicolous and thermophilous plant species that occur on limestone substrates, particularly at outcrops of crystalline limestone. Limestone cliffs are a defining landscape feature of the Čepičná Nature Reserve.

The surroundings of Dobršín include Svatobor Mountain, Vysoký Mountain, Sedlo Mountain [Sušice-Albrechtice], and Vosík Mountain [Hartmanice-Javoříc]. In the wider regional surroundings of Dobršín lies the Radomysl Mediumwave Radio Mast, which is considered a ruin.

Cycling Route

The cycling route from Sušice to Rabí Castle leads from Sušice in the direction of Dobršín and continues from Dobršín to Budětice. It is considered a route for trekking bikes, gravel bikes, mountain bikes, and electric bicycles.
