Mlečice: Hotels and Accommodation
Culture and History
Historical sources cite 1227 as the year Mlečice was founded. An important testament to the village’s history is the Church of the Holy Trinity, which has served as a parish church since 1344. The Gothic building dates from the 14th century and was renovated in a pseudo-Gothic style in 1896. A relief of Christ’s head is located above the portal.
The village square also preserves a religious connection: a copy of the statue of Our Lady of Svatá Hora was installed there in June 1998. The statue of Our Lady of Svatá Hora was probably created at the beginning of the 19th century.
Events and Routes
The DACHL CUP is a traditional Jawa motorcycle event in Mlečice. Mlečická ťapka is another recurring hiking event; at its third edition, announced for 2025, participants could choose between two routes.
Joint spring hikes to the Chapel of Saint Vojtěch were announced for 2023 and 2025. Advent concerts were also announced at the Church of the Holy Trinity for 2024 and 2025.
