Čmelíny: Hotels and accommodation

The Chapel of Our Lady is a small sacred building dating from the second half of the 19th century and a traditional cultural and historical element of the rural surroundings in the southern Plzeň region. The first written mention of Čmelíny dates from 1384. Ervín de Stmelin is considered a converse of the Cistercian monastery in Nepomuk.

The Bouřidla natural monument is located in the vicinity of Čmeliny. It covers 11.4092 hectares, was first designated on 15 November 1990, and is home to an abundant population of common juniper.

The eastern part of the ÄŒmeliny area features significantly greater variation in the terrain and land cover.

The Sejpy are clearly visible and reach a height of approximately 1 to 1.5 metres.

The juniper forest near Bouřidla is most easily reached from Čmeliny via a dirt track; the route is slightly more than one kilometre long.

The TT 0221 (124) tourist route, the St James Way, runs from Nepomuk via Tojice and Podhůří to Lnáře. A cycle route runs westwards from the eastern edge of Kladrubce to Tojice.
