Nýrsko combines historical landmarks with specific offerings for culture, water activities, winter activities, and walks.

Culture and history

Pajrek Castle was founded before 1356. Pajrek is one of the few donjon castles in the Czech Republic and is characterized by a square tower. The original tower had a footprint of 16 × 16 meters and at least three residential floors. The west wall and part of the north wall have been preserved at Pajrek.

The Muzeum Nýrsko features permanent exhibitions on Okula and Královský hvozd. Over the course of its history, it has hosted more than fifty exhibitions. The museum offers individual guided tours for groups of five or more.

The Lesní divadlo Nýrsko forest theater also has a clearly documented history: construction began in 1933, and the premiere took place on September 23, 1934.

Other offerings in Nýrsko include the Koupaliště Nýrsko outdoor swimming pool and the Nýrsko ski area. The outdoor pool has two saltwater pools; the large pool has a maximum depth of 1.6 meters. After a complete reconstruction, it reopened in June 2017. Private ski lessons are offered at the Nýrsko ski area.
