Olšany: Hotels and Accommodations
Townscape
In the center of Olšany, in the middle of the village square, stands the Chapel of St. Wenceslas, a chapel with a cross. Above its entrance is a stucco cartouche bearing the year 1810. The chapel has an octagonal lantern bell tower with an onion-shaped roof and a cross.
The historic agricultural farmstead Olšany E 37, formerly house number 5, is located on the same village square. It is a valuable example of a rural house with the restrained forms of rural Baroque typical of this area. The complex consists of a large residential building, adjoining stables, a stable building opposite, possibly originally a granary, and a barn. A surrounding wall with a vaulted gate encloses the farmyard.
