Spalene Porici: Hotels and Accommodation

Adam Vratislav of Mitrovice had Spálené Poříčí Castle built in 1617 on the site of an earlier Gothic fortress. At the castle, visitors can see a concert hall with its original Renaissance ceiling vault preserved, as well as the ethnographic museum of the Spálenopoříčsko region.

The educational trail “Za mlynáři od Bradavy” begins at a mill in the immediate vicinity of the castle and runs through the Bradava Valley, past Hvížďalka Pond, to Hořehled. At six stops, it presents the history of mills, hammer mills, and traditional crafts; the route is 4.5 km long.

The “Perličky víly Terezky” walking trail is particularly suitable for families with children, seniors, schoolchildren, and parents with prams because of its proximity to the town, flat terrain, paved paths, and relatively short distance.

The “Cesta otevřená” is a restored historic path between Spálené Poříčí and Blovice through the rural landscape of meadows, pastures, and forests. By continuing through the forest, it can be extended into a bicycle route of approximately 20 km.

The mountains of Nad Moráskem and Radyně are located in the surroundings of Spálené Poříčí.

In the wider regional surroundings of Spálené Poříčí are the Zřícenina Valdek ruins, the “Plzen Barholomaeus Cathedral” church, the Svatý Martin church, and the mountains of Praha and Štěrbina.
