The former farmyard dating from the 16th century presumably contains the remains of a Renaissance tower fortress.
History and Local Life
The brothers Drslav z Nezbavětic and Habart z Nevida donated Veselá to the Dominican monastery in Plzeň. A small square chapel stands in the village square. In addition, a memorial to the men from Veselá who fell in the First World War was erected in 1920.
Local daily life also includes the fire-water reservoir, which is used for swimming in summer, and the U Hřiště pub, which offers refreshments.

A wetland lies on the southern edge of the former farmyard in Veselá. A hiking trail leads through Veselá. A cycle route runs near Veselá; cycle route No. 2155 runs along the local road near Veselá.

In the surroundings of Veselá, the Kotel lookout tower can be reached by car via the road to Veselá. A car park is located about 1.5 km from the tower. Regular bus services connect Veselá with the surrounding municipalities.
