Trails and activities

The In the Footsteps of Czech Kings cycle path runs along the Berounka. Lety can be reached on foot or by bicycle via this cycle path. The Mezitím sculpture series can be viewed along a route approximately two kilometres long.

History and culture

The first written mention of Lety dates back to 1088. Archaeological finds make Lety one of the oldest settlements in Bohemia. Since 2000, folk traditions, including Masopust, have been cultivated again in Lety.

The Berounka is also connected with the town's history: A. B. Svojsík swam in the river while using a garden house in Lety. The wooden sculpture series Mezitím was created by six students of the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art under the direction of Agáta Slámová.
