Pernštejnské Jestřabí lies on the southwestern edge of the Svratecká hornatina Nature Park and on the right bank of the Svratka. The Víckov mountain is located nearby; the Sýkoř, Babylon and Střela mountains are also situated in the surrounding area.

Culture

Jilmoví is one of the settlements of Pernštejnské Jestřabí and has a chapel. The Chapel of St. Anne is the landmark of Jilmoví and was built in 1830.

The Chapel of Our Lady of the Rosary stands in the centre of Pernštejnské Jestřabí. It is a protected cultural monument and has a copper roof. The Chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows is also located in Maňová, a district of Pernštejnské Jestřabí.

A pilgrimage is held on Bozinka on the Sunday closest to 22 July.

There is an orchard between the settlements of Jilmoví and Husle.
