Diváky: Hotels and accommodations

Diváky Chateau is a late Baroque building by František Antonín Grimm, a prominent Baroque architect. The chateau is registered as a state cultural monument under registration number 30427/7-1191.

The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Diváky was built between 1873 and 1875 in the Historicist Romantic style, with predominantly Renaissance and Baroque elements. It was created by reconstructing an older building dating from before 1601; the church is already mentioned for the years 1287 and 1351.

The Mrštík Brothers Memorial is located in the family home in Diváky, where Alois and Vilém Mrštík lived. Visitors can see five rooms and the garden; audiovisual presentations featuring members of the Mrštík family accompany them through the rooms.

Hradisko Burberk is an important archaeological site in Diváky and is classified as a hilltop settlement and fortification. The site is an oval hillfort on a small spur of land in Ždánský les. It is fortified by a low embankment and a ditch that is double on the southern side. Settlement at Hradisko Burberk has been documented from the Early and Late Iron Ages as well as the Middle Ages.

The Velkopavlovická cycling route passes through Diváky. It comes from Šitbořice in the north, continues eastward, and turns south behind the village toward Boleradice.

In Diváky, Hody festivities take place on the Sunday around the Feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary on 15 August. In Hustopeče, the Divácké putování Maryša walking event has been held every October since 1977; it is connected with the literary heritage of Alois and Vilém Mrštík from nearby Diváky.
