Drásov: Hotels and Accommodation

The Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in Drásov is a state-protected cultural monument. It is a single-nave building with a square western tower dating from the mid-13th century and has a late Romanesque core from the same period as well as a Gothic chancel. A pilgrimage is associated with it on the Sunday around 14 September.

The cadastral area of Drásov contains clear settlement traces from the entire prehistoric period, beginning with the Old Stone Age. Extensive settlements with cremation burial grounds from the Late and Final Bronze Age as well as from the Roman Imperial Period were located north and northeast of the present-day settlement.

The Drásovské hody festivities include the erection of the maypole. The Sunday programme culminates at 2:00 p.m. in a procession from the school. The Drásovské hody are open to the general public, both in traditional costume and without it.

The managed section of the lower course of the Lubě continues through the cadastral areas of Malhostovice, Všechovice and Skalička. Along its entire length, it has continuous riverside vegetation consisting predominantly of black and grey alder, and is home, among other species, to the grasshopper warbler and spotted flycatcher.

The Drásovská studánka spring is situated at the foot of a gentle slope on the edge of the Lubě floodplain, on an area of two hectares at an elevation of 268 to 280 metres. It comprises a spring, a small stream and park-like stands of trees consisting predominantly of native species.

The park north of Drásov was created in the 1990s by landscaping the area known as Močidla. Its spring provides water that is safe for consumption and also suitable for infants. Particularly during the First Republic, the park was a venue for various celebrations, entertainments and open-air theatre.

The Drásovská stopa event is intended for hikers and cyclists of all ages. It offers short routes supplemented by competitions for parents with children, as well as longer routes for fit individuals and groups. In 2026, the event was scheduled to take place on 23 May as its 10th edition.

The Naučná myslivecká FIT stezka Drásov is an educational trail in the forest near Drásov focusing on natural history and hunting, with additional exercise elements.

At the Česnekové slavnosti festival at Farm Podal, visitors can traditionally taste the farm's garlic varieties and buy these and other farm products directly.
