Žabčice: Hotels and Accommodations

A 1.5 km section of the Amber Trail running through Žabčice follows a dedicated cycle path away from roads.

Žabčice railway station is integrated into the IDS JMK integrated transport system. It is located on line 251, serving the Tišnov–Brno–Hustopeče u Brna and Hrušovany u Brna–Židlochovice routes.

Žabčice lies in the Dyje–Svratka Valley between the Svratka and Šatava rivers. During the revitalization of the Šatava in 1999–2000, ponds were created in the Klučiny locality.

VKP Klučiny is one of the two registered significant landscape elements in Žabčice. The registered significant landscape element VKP Klučiny comprises wooded areas covering 3.87 hectares in the area of the former sports field and Jezírko.

The Kulatý kopec fortification was built around the middle of the 13th century and fell into disrepair around 1425. It is a motte in the shape of a truncated cone, with a discernible ditch and a partially preserved outer rampart.

The large granary on the Žabčice farm estate was built in 1713 and continues to serve various purposes to this day. The Chapel of St. Lawrence in the center of Žabčice was built in 1883.

A church and a medieval cemetery have been documented in the vanished medieval settlement of Koválov. Boží muka is a significant cultural monument in Žabčice.
