Hoštice-Heroltice brings rural history to life. Booking a hotel in Hoštice-Heroltice is a decision in its own right; the Museum of Agricultural Machinery and Equipment shows how the rural population of the region worked and lived from the 19th century to the beginning of the second half of the 20th century. Since 1998, it has served as a permanent public museum exhibition.

Culture and History

The Church of St. John the Baptist in Hoštice is the oldest surviving church in the former Vyškov District. It was consecrated in 1445. The atonement stone is also part of the local history: it is a historical monument of local significance and stands on the edge of a field near a road intersection.

The war memorial in Heroltice was erected in 1926 and expanded in 1948 with two side monuments. Boží muka, a registered cultural monument in Hoštice, also stands on the road to Ivanovice. A small-leaved lime tree near the church in Hoštice-Heroltice is designated as a protected tree.

The Rozkrámy hill is located in the vicinity of Hoštice-Heroltice. The surrounding area also includes the ruins of Hrádek and Kuchlov, as well as the Hradisko and Předina mountains.
