Culture

The Church of St. Nicholas stands on elevated ground in the center of Němčice. Two bells dating from the 16th century hang in its tower. The church, which belongs to the municipality, has been listed as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic since 1993.

The history of the village also includes the Němčice windmill, built in 1840 by the miller Matuška.

Nature

East of Němčice, near the forest, there is a multipurpose water reservoir considered a popular area for health, recreation, and leisure. Forests consisting predominantly of coniferous trees surround Němčice on two sides and offer opportunities for walks in nature.

Skalka is located west of Němčice above the Pálenec forester's lodge. The site features a narrow strip of Devonian limestone; iron ore was mined here in the late 18th and 19th centuries.

Hiking and Cycling

A yellow-marked hiking trail runs through Němčice along the Valchov–Němčice–Sloup–Macocha Abyss–Skalní mlýn route.

Local cycling route 5117 runs outside the built-up area along the western side of the cadastral territory of Němčice on the Blansko–Petrovice–Boskovice route. At the southwestern tip of the cadastral territory, cycling route 5204 connects to route 5117 and continues via Kuničky and Újezd u Boskovic to Boskovice.

In the vicinity of Němčice, Dům přírody Moravského krasu offers interactive indoor and outdoor exhibitions as well as a 3D cinema.
