Újezd U Tišnova: Hotels and Accommodation

Romanesque elements suggest that the construction of the Church of St. Giles probably dates back to the beginning of the 13th century. Two crosses made of Nedvědice marble stand on the road to the church and in the center of the village. They were erected in the 1880s at the expense of the residents. Újezd u Tišnova is also home to a mill with equipment dating from 1937.

The protected tree Babyka u Chytálek, also called Babyka u Cytálek, stands in the cadastral area of Újezd u Tišnova. It is a single field maple. Several elevations designated as mountains are located around Újezd u Tišnova: Víckov, Sýkoř, Duforty, and Babylon.

On the wooded Hrádek ridge near Újezd u Tišnova are the remains of a fortified settlement made of wood and clay from the 14th century. A red hiking trail from Tišnov runs around Hrádek. The remains of Hrádek can only be reached from the northwest side: a footpath leads from the road over the ridge, passing two huts.

Obecník Pond was used for ice skating during the winter months.
