Všechovice: Hiking Trail, Landscape and Cultural History

The village lies at the transition between the Horno-svratecká vrchovina and the Boskovická brázda. The mountains of Paní hora, Střela and Zlobica rise in the surrounding area; Babí Lom is considered part of the area around Všechovice. Thus, different landscape areas and named elevations stand side by side without belonging to the same spatial level.

Several cycle routes pass through Všechovice and the surrounding area. Less than one kilometer south of Všechovice lies the ruin of Trmačov Fortress. A deep moat and the remains of a round tower have survived from the complex. Today, Trmačov Fortress is a state-protected cultural monument.

Všechovice u Tišnova is also home to the Chapel of St. Anne. The Neoclassical building dates from 1818 and was consecrated on October 18, 1818. The chapel and the ruins of Trmačov Fortress thus represent two different historical testimonies: a preserved sacred building and the remains of a fortification.
