Bříza: Hotels and Accommodation

Bříza lies in the Říper Table south of Roudnice nad Labem at an elevation of 240 metres. A Christian burial ground was excavated at the eastern end of the village; two graves were covered with stone slabs bearing crosses. The Christian burial ground excavated in Bříza in 1912 contained 30 skeletons. The archaeological find from Bříza dating from 1912 also includes a Czech denar of Vratislaus II from the period between 1061 and 1092.

History

Bříza was part of the Roudnice estate. After 1603, Roudnice and its associated villages were administered by the Lobkowicz family until the manorial administration ended in 1850.
