Bělušice lies at the northeastern foot of Bělouš Hill. Above Bělušice and Odolice lies the Milá Nature Reserve, which protects a basalt summit with heat-loving communities. Milá is one of the most distinctive peaks in the České středohoří region.

Culture and history

The medieval fortress in Bělušice is designated as a cultural monument. The Bělušice fortress is first documented in written sources in 1408. The fortress grounds include a salla terrena built around 1700. It is an unusual component of the gradually expanded farmyard and represents an older phase of the site.
