Korozluky: Hotels and Accommodation

Korozluky is closely associated with the château on the southern slope of Jánský vrch above Korozluky. The château has been protected as a cultural monument since 1987 and has been open to the public since 2008. Guided tours of the exhibited collection are available.

Culture and History

The cultural life at the château includes the Korozluky Festival, a traditional concert. Živá zahrada is an annual children's day held at Korozluky Château.

The historic buildings also include the Chapel of St. Joseph, built in 1870–1871. It is shaped as a rotunda with a rectangular entrance hall and a semicircular apse.

Cycling

The 35-kilometre Mostecký okruh cycle route passes through Korozluky. It runs with minimal changes in elevation and is suitable for cross-country, trekking and mountain bikes.

Nature

Jánský vrch was first placed under protection on 25 September 1951. Eleven legally protected plant species occur on Jánský vrch, including spring pheasant's eye. A smaller forest-steppe area in the northern part of the Jánský vrch NPP is the westernmost distribution point of the plant species ovsíř stepní čedičový.
