Obrnice: Hotels and Accommodations

Zlatník, a national nature reserve, is located in the cadastral area of České Zlatníky in the municipality of Obrnice. Zlatník is a wooded, partly rocky phonolite summit in the Bílina Valley. The 521-metre-high Zlatník offers views of the České středohoří and the Krušné hory ridge.

Nature

On the southern slope of Zlatník, at an altitude of approximately 465–470 metres, there is a launch site for paragliding. Climbing is permitted at designated places on the western slope of the Zlatník National Nature Reserve.

Culture and Local History

The Church of St. George in České Zlatníky is a cultural monument and has a Neo-Romanesque façade. The Church of St. George contains parts of the valuable furnishings and frescoes from the demolished Minorite Church of St. Francis Seraphicus in Most.

The Chapel of the Most Holy Trinity is a Neo-Gothic chapel from the late 19th century in the historic centre of Obrnice. Its façade is articulated by pilasters, its windows end in pointed arches, and a small bell tower is incorporated into the roof ridge. The archaeological area of the historic centre of České Zlatníky comprises a church, a settlement and a burial site.
