History
The first documented mentions of Dobkovice date back to 1383. The historic settlement of Dobkovice included a mill. The development of various businesses is also recorded: in the 1870s, a paint factory operated in Dobkovice, and during the same period the Stolle company’s shipyard was in operation there. In 1893, the M. Korálka button factory was established in Dobkovice.
Skrytín, also known as Reichberg, is documented as a hamlet in the history of Dobkovice as early as 1383.
Hiking and History
A yellow-marked hiking trail leads from Dobkovice railway station to Skrytín. At the beginning of the 20th century, Skrytín was a magnificent residence with a swimming pool and gardens. There are several rest areas in Skrytín.
