Culture and History

The Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary (Kostel Neposkvrněného početí Panny Marie) was built between 1898 and 1906 as a three-nave basilica in the Venetian Gothic style, modeled on the Madonna dell'Orto in Venice. Guided tours with commentary cover its architecture and construction history and also include a visit to the Clary-Aldringen family crypt.

The Dvojhradí Hunting Lodge was built in 1703 in the Chinese style for Tupperle. The first floor of the Dům porcelánu s modrou krví – Modrodům houses an exhibition on the history of porcelain production in the area below the Ore Mountains.

Paths and Landscape

The Paraplíčko educational trail is located near Tereziny lázně. The walk along the educational trail is particularly suitable for families with children and takes a little over an hour.

The Cínovec educational trail is 14 kilometers long. Information boards provide details about the restoration of peat bogs, as well as the geological features and the local fauna and flora of this part of the Ore Mountains. Dubí railway station is a stop on the tourist Moldavská dráha railway between Most, Dubí, and Moldava in the Ore Mountains.

Recreation and Leisure

In the lower part of Cínovec, visitors can swim in Dlouhý rybník near the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary (Nanebevzetí Panny Marie). Tereziny lázně offers therapeutic treatments focused mainly on treating disorders of the musculoskeletal and nervous systems.

The forest park near Tereziny lázně includes a tennis court, a minigolf course, a Russian skittles facility, and an outdoor swimming pool.

Nature and Wildlife

The game preserve in Mstišov is open to the public year-round. It has been home to forest animals for more than three hundred years; visitors can observe deer, fallow deer, roe deer, wild boar, pheasants, ducks, and a fox there.
