Lukov U Bíliny: Hotels and Accommodation

Štěpánovská hora lies in the municipalities of Lukov and Hrobčice and rises directly above Štěpánov. It is a protected natural monument in the České středohoří Protected Landscape Area, is among the highest-elevation steppe clearings in České středohoří, reaches an elevation of up to 608 m, and is home to numerous significant plant species.

The mountain Kloc, Hradišťany, Lipská hora, and Lhota are located in the vicinity of Lukov. The landscape around Lukov thus combines the protected Štěpánovská hora with several nearby mountains.

Culture and History

A fortress in Lukov is first mentioned in 1496. The archaeological site “historické jádro obce Lukov” lies above the source of an unnamed tributary of the Lukovský potok. At the same time, the urban structure and arrangement of buildings in Lukov are largely authentic.

The ruins of Sukoslav and the ruins of Hradek Oltářík are located in the vicinity of Lukov. The Hrádek ruins are situated around Lukov, while Hrad Střekov Castle lies in the wider regional surroundings of Lukov.
