Lišnice: Hotels and Accommodations

Lišnice remained untouched by coal mining and has the highest concentration of cultural monuments in the administrative district of Most (ORP Most).

Culture

Lišnice Château is registered as a protected immovable cultural monument. The Chapel of Saint John of Nepomuk is a Baroque building dating from 1717. The Lišnice Brewery, including its beer cellars, is also part of the local landscape and forms part of an ensemble of heritage conservation interest. The granary with a coat of arms is listed as a cultural heritage site in Lišnice. The village square also features the Baroque Calvary sculpture group bearing the year 1741, which is protected as a monument.

History

The former early Gothic fortress in Lišnice is a building constructed entirely of stone with a gabled roof. Before the château was completed, it served as the main seat of the locality. The former fortress is not accessible to visitors; it is used by the municipal office.

Landscape and Geology

In the municipality of Lišnice, the area around Nemilkovský Pond is listed as one of three valuable landscape areas. A notable geological locality is Porzellanite near Skyřice-Lišnice. It lies approximately 1 km north of Lišnice and includes outcrops and exposures of thin relics of the productive Tertiary, which have been thermally metamorphosed and deposited on tuffites. The Porzellanite locality near Skyřice-Lišnice is classified as a geological locality recommended for legal protection.

The mountains of Dlouhá, Číčov, Bořeň [Bílina-Újezd], and Oblík lie in the surroundings of Lišnice.

The wider regional surroundings of Lišnice include the ruins of Sukoslav, Hradek Oltářík, and Hrádek, as well as Osek Monastery.

Travel Information

Road III/2507 before Bečov in the direction of Volevčice was scheduled to be completely closed from spring to autumn 2026 due to the reconstruction of the road bridge. There was an operational interruption on bus route 545 from 16 March to 31 October 2026.
