Ohníč: Hotels and Accommodations

Flour is still actively milled in Ohníč. The mill is no longer powered by water, but entirely by electricity. A railway line runs through the village, and Ohníč has a railway station.

Culture

In Křemýž stands the Church of St. Peter and Paul, a Baroque sacral cultural monument church that is protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic. Figurative Renaissance tombstones from the 16th century are set into its exterior walls.

Křemýž Chateau is a Baroque chateau in the village of the same name in the Teplice District and has been protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic since 1958. It was built between 1693 and 1695 at the foot of Ladenburk after the older fortress had been demolished.

The Dolánky Chapel is attached to the Dolánky Mill complex and was built in memory of the tragic death of a child. The no longer operational Dolánky water mill, dating from the first quarter of the 18th century, is a private building and is not open to the public. Below the Dolánky Mill lie the ruins of the former March Mill, also known as Nový mlýn.

Routes and Events

The Barbora Loop passes through Ohníč. It is 33.7 kilometers long and has an elevation gain of 332 meters.

In the Dílnička na statku in Ohníč, practical creative activities for children and adults were held in the past, including basket weaving, pottery, and making Advent wreaths. As part of the ANDY Memorial, another edition of a four-team volleyball tournament took place in Ohníč.
