Proboštov: Hotels and Accommodation
Nature
The Proboštovský lesopark reopened to the public in April 2019. It features three play and exercise areas with outdoor fitness equipment, as well as new play elements for the youngest children. The educational and play trail in Proboštovský lesopark provides information about the fauna, flora, history and present of the lesopark and Proboštovský rybník.
In autumn 2021, after many years, Proboštovský rybník was drained, desilted and revitalised. Its dam is 228 metres long, and the water surface covers approximately 5 hectares. Water plants such as cattails and large clumps of bright yellow yellow irises grow by the pond; flocks of ducks and a pair of swans with cygnets can be seen on the water’s surface.

The “Brittánka” recreational loop is suitable for pedestrians, recreational runners, cyclists and inline skaters. It includes a lookout point with a panorama of the Bohemian Central Mountains.
