Dlouhé: Hotels and Accommodation

The current memorial to the fallen in Dlouhé was erected in 1924 and commemorates those who died in both world wars. The Evangelical Cemetery in Dlouhé was established and built in 1888 by Evangelical residents from Dlouhé and Račice; the first person buried there was the citizen Jan Chalupa.

In the centre of Dlouhé stands the Kříž posledního rozloučení, dating from 1879. Before setting out for a funeral service, local residents stop there to say farewell. The Kříž pod Kopci, dated 1903, stands on the road to Radešínská Svratka. The Kříž Omladiny was erected in 1929 by the young people of the village on the road to Bobrová.

The construction of a bell tower with a small chapel in Dlouhé was decided in 1874. Rosa Milius-Malovetz, who ran a girls’ institute in Brno, donated a painting of Saint Florian.

Ježkov (Frankfurt) is a settlement belonging to Dlouhé and the remains of a former ironworks. Zátoky is a manorial forester’s lodge built in 1876.

The “Bobrová kolem kopce Kalvárie” loop route follows cycle path 5256 towards Dlouhé. Near Dlouhé, the loop route turns towards Bobrová; this is followed by a 2.4 km descent with panoramic views of the surrounding hills.

In 2022, terms were adopted for the short-term rental of the hall with kitchen and grill bar at Kulturní dům u Pávku, as well as the entire outdoor area including the pergola, excluding the dining area.
