Čížov: Hotels and accommodations

The landmark of Čížov is the Neo-Gothic Chapel of St. Florian, which dates from 1787. Inside it are six additional stained-glass windows; in two of them, it is evident that they formerly contained figurative depictions of saints.

History

The history of the locality includes Čížov Fortress: in 1359, the citizen Frenclín Schober from Kutná Hora assigned it to the brothers Vojslav and Chřábek from Pozdětín.

The traditional Pilgrimage of St. Florian has been announced for May 9, 2026, at the sports ground in Čížov. A program for children and adults had been announced for this pilgrimage, including a juggling and theater performance by the Kašpaři group, children's competitions, a bouncy castle, tattooing and face painting, as well as children's workshops. The announced refreshments included beer, soft drinks, steaks, sausages, hot dogs, and pancakes.

In 2025, Ranč U Zelené sedmy in Čížov offered children's camps.
