Řídelov: Hotels and Accommodation

The Lukšovská protected area lies about 1.5 km north of Řídelov, in the cadastral area of Řídelov. It protects wet spruce forests and alder stands along the stream. Lukšovská includes forest stands with a high natural proportion of Norway spruce (Picea abies).

Nature and Water

Rašeliniště Bažantka is a transitional and valley peat bog. Its wetland vegetation includes round-leaved sundew (Drosera rotundifolia), bogbean (Menyanthes trifoliata), and broad-leaved marsh orchid (Dactylorhiza majalis). The Mirošovská studánka spring lies in the cadastral area of Řídelov; access is via a cycle-friendly path.

Malý pařezitý rybník is designated as a bathing area; it is operated by the municipality of Řídelov. The nearby surroundings of Řídelov also include Obecní kopec, Vondrova skalka, Řídelovský kopec, and Farářský kopec hills.

Culture and History

South of Řídelov stands a stone Baroque wayside shrine of the boží muka type, dated 1817. The local Drdák Mill was one of the largest and oldest mills in the surrounding area.
