Nová Ves: Hotels and Accommodations
Nová Ves preserves a typical circular village square as a defining feature of the local townscape; two ponds lie at its center. The monument to the victims of the First and Second World Wars stands on the village square between the ponds. Marked cycle route 162 runs through the village on the route between Třebíč and Jihlava.
Nature
About 500 meters north of Nová Ves lies a flooded limestone quarry. The quarry located north of Nová Ves is a site where crystalline limestone is found.

Culture
The monument to Jan Svoboda stands in the Větrovice Forest in Nová Ves. It commemorates a member of the state police who was killed by German saboteurs on May 11, 1945.
The first documented mention of Nová Ves dates from 1224 and appears in a charter of King Přemysl Otakar I. Nová Ves initially belonged to the Benedictine monastery in Třebíč. In 1556, King Ferdinand I transferred the Třebíč estate to Vratislav z Pernštejna as hereditary property.
During road construction in 1904, remains of a mammoth skeleton were discovered at the Žlíbek site while excavating the foundations for bridge pillars. Some of the mammoth remains found in Žlíbek are kept at the Zapadomoravské muzeum v Třebíči.
