The Částovský stream flows through the cadastral territory of Kelníky. Cycle Route 5176 also runs through this area. The interactive natural history educational trail „Puštíkova lesní naučná stezka“ by Lesní svět leads through the forests around Kelníky. In Kelníky, a multipurpose sports ground is available for physical activities.

Culture

Construction of the present-day Chapel of St Zdislava began in 1972 and was completed in 1977–1978. In 1998–1999, the chapel was reconstructed and consecrated to St Zdislava. It still houses the original bell „Panny Marie a sv. Jana Nepomuckého“ from 1782.

In front of the Chapel of St Zdislava stands the sandstone „Pískovcový kamenný Kříž“; it is older than the chapel. The „Pískovcový kamenný Kříž“ was erected in 1898 at the expense of the devout married couple Josef and Anna Miklovi. The barn of the rural homestead No. 4 in Kelníky is also among the local cultural monuments.

Several independent historical references can therefore be identified at the chapel: the construction period of the present-day chapel, its later reconstruction and consecration, the older bell, and the sandstone cross standing in front of it. This heritage is complemented by the barn of the rural homestead No. 4, designated as a cultural monument.

Community Life

The Fěrtůšek folklore ensemble organizes cultural events and performances several times a year together with the municipal office. The premises of the Kelníky Municipal Library and its reading room are also used for cultural and social events.
