Landscape and location
Dealu Negru lies between the villages of Călățele and Beliș. At the same time, it is located in the contact zone between the Huedin-Călățele Depression, locally called Țara Călatei, and the Apuseni Mountains. Dealu Negru has a mountainous landscape with spruce, fir, pine, and birch forests. These two spatial details help you consider the surrounding area separately when planning your own routes.
Cycling tours
The Vasvári cycling tour leads from Lake Beliș-Fântânele via Beliș and Dealu Negru to Călățele. It is considered moderately difficult and suitable for people who cycle regularly. The Bánffy cycling tour follows the Râșca–Dealu Negru road and reaches the Huedin–Beliș national road after approximately 2 km. The different route details help you compare variants and align your own planning with the route and the approximate section. Different features therefore take priority when classifying the two offers: the Vasvári tour describes a connection through several villages and the lake, while the Bánffy tour specifies a section of road and the approximate distance to the national road. These details can be compared separately.
