The Buscat Ski Resort has six ski slopes. These include the 150-metre-long slope 4, a beginner slope with a small baby lift. The Pârtia de schi Muntele Băișorii is 1,200 metres long and descends from the start at an altitude of 1,500 metres to the finish at 1,252 metres. The 150 metres of slope 4 and the 1,200 metres of the Pârtia de schi Muntele Băișorii therefore represent two clearly different slope lengths. When choosing between the two slopes, both the length and the designation as a beginner slope therefore play a role.
Which winter sports information is important for planning?
The Buscat Ski Resort also has a chairlift with a capacity of 3,000 people per hour. For planning a winter sports day, the chairlift's hourly capacity is another specific figure alongside the number of ski slopes.
What is the spatial orientation around Muntele Băişorii?
A modernised road leads from Băișoara, branching off there from the DJ 107M. It initially runs for 10 kilometres through Valea Ierta to the village of Muntele Băișorii. It then continues for another 2 kilometres to Muntele Buscat. For the journey, the ten kilometres to the village and the additional two kilometres to the mountain can be planned separately.
Which route is suitable for mountain biking?
Route 11MN04 connects Staţiunea Muntele Băișorii with Moara de Pădure and passes over Muntele Bocului and Muntele Filii. This route is recommended for mountain biking. When planning, the starting point, destination and the two mountains crossed can be considered separately.
Which mountains characterise the immediate surroundings?
The mountain Muntele Agrişului is located in the immediate surroundings of Muntele Băişorii. The mountain Muntele Mare and the mountain Muntele Tâna are also located in the area. The Vârful Ţâcluiul peak is also situated in the wider regional surroundings.
What cultural impressions are there?
The Sfinţii Arhangheli Mihail şi Gavriil Church in Muntele Băișorii was built from fir wood with a stone foundation and a sheet-metal roof. The laying of the foundation stone and construction took place from 1951 to 1960.
The Muntele Băişorii parish is one of the oldest parishes in these mountain regions. In Muntele Băișorii, there was a tradition known as Irozii: during the Christmas carol-singing period, young people in costume performed a religious play.
The Biserica Săcel and Biserica Hăşdate churches are also located in the surroundings of Muntele Băişorii. The Biserica Filea de Sus and Biserica Finişel churches are likewise situated in the area.
