Nature
Farská skala is a protected natural monument with the fourth level of protection. Conglomerates and sandstones are exposed at Farská skala; they show the layering and structure of sedimentary rocks. Culture and History
The Church of the Holy Trinity, a Roman Catholic parish church, stands in Chrasť nad Hornádom. Originally, it was a Romanesque building with a Byzantine floor plan in the shape of an equal-armed cross. A fresco entitled “The Resurrection of Christ from the Tomb” has been preserved on the northern interior wall of the tower. The history of the village is also documented from an early period: Chrasť nad Hornádom has been documented since the period after 1255; a document from 1280 names the settlement as Goroszt or Horoszt. The Slovak academic painter Jozef Hanula lived and worked in Chrasť nad Hornádom for 18 years.

Šikľavá skala is a waterfall that appears as an icefall or ice wall in winter. The waterfall at Šikľavá skala is approximately 14 metres high and 25 to 30 metres wide. Šikľavá skala lies 1.2 km west of Chrasť nad Hornádom on a red-marked cycling route. A regional route leads from Chrasť nad Hornádom railway station via Farská skala and the village church to a yellow-marked cycling route. Another route leads from Chrasť nad Hornádom along a red-marked cycling route past Šikľavá skala towards the Matejovce nad Hornádom railway station.
