Culture

Landscape

Ľubá lies between the Bélai Hills, the southernmost foothills of the Garamment Hills. A system of four small water reservoirs extends northeast of the town. At the border of Ľubá, a reservoir was created on the Parížský potok in the second half of the 20th century.

The reservoir near Ľubá is a popular fishing spot. Carp are the main catch there. The reed beds of the dammed Parížský potok provide shelter for rare birds. Thus, the water is both used as a fishing spot and serves as a habitat in the reed beds.
