Madunice combines cultural history, a river landscape, and community events scheduled for specific dates. The town is home to designated architectural and artistic monuments alongside natural complexes. The differences become apparent at specific locations and on clearly dated occasions.

Culture

The Roman Catholic Church of the Nativity of Mary, Queen of Angels, is located in the center of Madunice and is a national cultural monument. It has an older Renaissance core; from 1799 to 1806, it was built on the site of an earlier church. Thus, a single building preserves both an older structural section and the construction period of the later church building.

Behind the church in the center of Madunice is the sculptural group of Saints Wendelin, Rochus, and Florian. It is also a national cultural monument. The municipality of Madunice erected the group in 1839. Its location behind the church adds an independent sculptural work to the central monument area.

The Ján Hollý monument is located in the park opposite the church and likewise has the status of a national cultural monument. It is an oversized sandstone statue by the academic sculptor Vincent Vosmik, unveiled in 1923. The Ján Hollý memorial rectory is another national cultural monument and can be traced back to 1650. The church, sculptural group, monument, and memorial rectory thus represent different forms of local cultural heritage.

Nature

The Váh River runs through the cadastral territory of Madunice and is part of a nationwide biocorridor there. The Váh Biocorridor and the local gravel pits of Madunice are jointly classified as valuable natural complexes. Fishing is possible on the Váh River in Madunice; hunting is possible at the local gravel pits.

Activities

The Vážska cyklomagistrála runs southeast of Madunice. It passes the Madunice Hydroelectric Power Plant and several gravel pits. In addition to the natural areas, this connects the town's surroundings with a designated cycle route following a specific course.

The dated events include the 13th Gulášmajster competition, which the municipality of Madunice held on July 18, 2026. It was a public cooking competition. The 34th edition of Vatra zvrchovanosti was also announced in Madunice for the same date, July 18, 2026. It should therefore be classified as an announced event date, not as an edition that has already taken place.
