Ribnica: Crafts, Castle and Hiking Trails

At the Rokodelski Center Ribnica, visitors can watch demonstrations of traditional woodworking and pottery. An exhibition on the contemporary production of wooden and ceramic goods, as well as other local crafts, is also on display there. By prior arrangement, visitors can take part in craft workshops and make their own craft product under the guidance of an experienced artisan. The permanent exhibitions include “Suha roba in lončarstvo”, “Ribnica, veličina majhnosti” and “Boj krvavi zoper čarovniško zalego”. The Park kulturnikov at Ribnica Castle was established in 1982 with memorial markers commemorating 65 distinguished people from Ribnica.
